We are currently looking for artists and interns in the Las Vegas, Nevada area and/or Inland Empire, California area (San Bernardino, Riverside, High Desert) with a background in Marketing, Art or Computer Science.

Test/QA Lead (Independent Contractor)
Inland Empire or Las Vegas area

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of testing/breaking games (either professionally or as a hobby)
  • Develop test plans for the studio to get our games to interested customers.
  • Training test/QA interns on how to be efficient game testers.
  • Background in development or testing preferred (but not required)
  • Natural leadership qualities
  • Commission-based compensation. One day a week, plus possible additional communication at sporadic times during the week.

Internships

We are currently looking for interns in the Las Vegas, Nevada area or Inland Empire, California area (San Bernardino, Riverside, High Desert) with a background in Computer Science background.

Internships last three months. Due to the small size of our team and the scope of our indie game projects, these terms/conditions are non-negotiable.

Game Design Internship

(3 months duration — Beginning Fall 2019)
Inland Empire or Las Vegas area

What you will learn:

  • You will have the opportunity to work on current projects either in development or have been released on platforms such as Steam and Google Play Store.
  • Obtain valuable experience to be the stepping stone to entry level jobs in the AAA game industry or software industry.
  • Get experience in a collaborative close-knit game design team and give input/feedback on the design of game mechanics.
  • Have a say and a voice in current design talks, get experience and confidence in group weekly standup meetings, and credits in our video game projects.
  • Learn popular/industry related development tools (Slack, kanban-styled task boards such as Trello/HackNPlan)

What we can offer you:

  • Internship College Credit
  • Detailed feedback on your performance via traditional evaluation relative to how well you may perform in the industry
  • Letter of Recommendation (dependent on performance)
  • Opportunity to join our permanent team (dependent on performance)

What our requirements/qualifications are:

  • Current junior-college, college students, or recent graduates looking for experience are welcome to apply.
  • Must be collaborative in a team-environment
  • Programming background recommended (High-level or scripting language experience preferred)
  • Game Maker/Unity/RPG Maker experience preferred
  • Background experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, OpenOffice, or Google Docs required
  • Background knowledge with cloud computing programs (Dropbox, Google Drive),  and/or Git preferred
  • Availability on Saturdays (that is our main work day)

  • Obtain valuable experience to be the stepping stone to entry level jobs in the AAA game industry or software industry.
  • Get experience in a collaborative close-knit game design/programming and sound team.
  • Have a say and a voice in current design talks, get experience and confidence in group weekly standup meetings, and credits in our video game projects.
  • Learn popular/industry related development tools (Slack, kanban-styled task boards such as Trello/HackNPlan)

  • Love for video games and knowing what makes a game fun, willing to give constructive and honest feedback to developers. 
  • Knowledge of video recording/editing software preferred.
  • Background experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, OpenOffice, or Google Docs required
  • Background knowledge with cloud computing programs (Dropbox, Google Drive) and/or Git preferred
  • Availability on Saturdays (that is our main work day)
