Patch 1.25 Notes

[System Changes]
• New graphics have been added.

[Fixed Issues]
• Certain instances where the game has crashed in battle has been addressed.

Patch 1.24a Notes

• The controls have been changed.

[System Changes]
• WASD has been implemented for player movement and decision selection
• ‘W’ which was previously used as a toggle party member button, has been moved to ‘E’.
• ‘A’ which was previously used to open the World Map and activate Key Items has been moved to ‘Q’.
• The game now updates character abilities and changes upon loading the game rather than saving the game.
• Beginning with Version 1.24, players who try to load save data from a later version into a previous version will get an error message.

[Fixed Issues]
• A critical issue where the game would crash if Number 016 was knocked out during the fairy battle has been resolved.
• Drain attacks or other attacks where multiple types of damage is displayed is now clearly visible.
• The words “No Effect” will no longer occasionally display when defending in battle.
• Several spelling/grammar issues have been fixed.
• Several visual issues have been fixed.
• Certain voiced lines have been changed.

Patch 1.22 Notes

[New Features/Changes]
• Party members and NPCs now show a distinct fallen sprite
• There are now unique looking hidden cats
• Adjustments have been made to the Mirage Forest. A turquoise flash will now appear if the player navigates correctly, and a red flash now appears if the player navigates incorrectly.
• Adjustments have been made to the final fight of Chapter 2, allowing certain enemies to be affected by magic damage
• Certain sequences have been edited
• Various collision bugs have been fixed

[Fixed Issues]
• Addressed an issue where the “Dizzy” status would cause a party member to fall and take 9999 damage.

Patch 1.21 Notes

[New Features/Changes]
• A map indicator has been added to the Overworld.
• The controls menu has been updated to reflect these additions.
• The controls can now be accessed at any time from the Options menu.
• A new sound effect is played when opening the menu.

[Fixed Issues]
• Fixed various visual issues and typos.
• Addressed issue where Number 015 in Chapter 2 could be skipped.
• Leaving the Uncharted Waters to the Overworld now leads you to the same spot where you left the Overworld.

Patch 1.2a Notes

[Fixed Issues]
• Addressed issue where player was prevented from getting the additional Shopkeeper plank in Chapter 2-4.
• An additional treasure chest has been added in the Abandoned Path to compensate for any lost play time arising from this error.

Patch 1.2 Notes

[New Features/Changes]
• A new free demo is now available to the public which includes all patch data up to 1.2 in Chapter 1 development.
• The Reserve Selatria cap has been increased:
Previous Value -> New Value:
Chapter 1 – 300 -> 500
Chapter 2 – 450 -> 900
Chapter 3 – 600 -> 1300
• A more triumphant obtaining item theme plays when obtaining treasure of high-value. (This currently plays only with new treasure that fits this criteria. Will retroactively be placed in older treasure chests in the future.)
• In Chapter 1-3B, The prison escape sequence now becomes easier after three failed attempts. Additional treasure is available at the end for players who can complete the escape scene at its original difficulty.
• In Chapter 1-5, the hidden cat in Mt. Onyo has been moved, additional treasure has been placed in the previous location.
• More varieties of monsters have been added to Mt. Onyo – Second Ascent
• In Chapter 3-3, the waterfall sequence now becomes easier after three failed attempts. Additional treasure is available at the end for players who can can complete the scene at its original difficulty.

[Fixed Issues]
• Addressed several different passability issues with certain objects.
• Addressed certain lines of dialogue that did not match up with its voiced counterpart.
• Fixed several grammar/spelling issues.
• Lengthened certain voiceovers before they were interrupted by another character.
• Addressed issue where Mage did not learn Focus as a Paramedic or Elementalist.
• Addressed issue where Luis did not re-learn abilities obtained in the story when the game is updated from an older version.
• In Chapter 1-2, Various elements of Availia have been removed in an effort to improve the playability of Selatria on lower-end machines. The gameplay has not been affected.
• In Chapter 1-3B , an issue was addressed where the player can get stuck if they walk to the left of the bed in the prison wake up sequence.
• In Chapter 1-3B, an issue was addressed where notification sounds would continue to play if soldiers became aggressive in certain areas of Availia.
• In Chapter 1-5, an issue was addressed where the Mt. Onyo bridge can be walked off of.
• In Chapter 2-3B, an issue was addressed when the music on the ship sequence was inconsistent.
• In Chapter 2-4, an issue was addressed where NPC comments on the resistance of ghouls and ghosts in line with game updates.
• In Chapter 2-4, an issue was addressed where Shopkeeper resets position upon leaving the Abandoned Path. To counteract this, the player is now not allowed to leave the vicinity until they help him with the bridge once agreed to.
• In Chapter 2-5, an issue was addressed where various visual and audio issues related to the rescue of the Shopkeeper were fixed.
• In Chapter 2-5, an issue was addressed where soldiers would respawn on the fifth floor of Wayu Tower immediately after being defeated under certain cirumstances.
• In Chapter 2-5, an issue was addressed where vines could be climbed up sideways in the Wayu Tower.
• In Chapter 2-5, an issue was addressed where the same switch can be pulled twice after the statue puzzle is solved.
• In Chapter 3-1, an issue was addressed where the incorrect dialogue was being played dependent on who is in the party.
• In Chapter 3-1, an issue was addressed where Mage returns to Magician clothing if it is revealed he is a THIEF.
• In Chapter 3-1, an issue was addressed where the payouts of the Lealine Festival Minigames were changed.
• In Chapter 3-3, an issue was addressed where the wrong graphic was used for canoe in Smuggler’s Passage.
• In Chapter 3-4, an issue was addressed where vines could be climbed up sideways in the Goblin Village.

[Demo build only]
• Addressed an issue where a black screen appears at the end. The “Thank you for playing” message now appears appropriately.

Patch 1.16 Notes

[New Features]
• A new controls window has been added to the opening sequence. Also added to the different store websites. (Controls can be changed with the F1 key.)

[Fixed Issues]
• Addressed an issue where Shopkeeper would remain in Mirage Forest after certain story requirements have been met.
• Addressed an issue where Beloth’s tentacles can still be fought in Smuggler’s Passage after certain story requirements have been met.
• Addressed an issue where walls can be walked through in the Pirate Cove Weapon/Armor store.
• Addressed an issue where multiple hats can be obtained in the Rivale Cave.
• Addressed minor spelling errors and discontinuities.
• Addressed various issues where text was cut out of the window in cut-scenes and journal entries.
• Addressed an issue where Mage’s dialogue may be unvoiced in Chapter 3-1 if certain conditions are met.
• Many more minor gameplay improvements and adjustments.

[Known Issues]
• An issue where Elementalist cannot use the ability “Focus”.
• An issue where Mage’s dialogue may be unvoiced in Chapter 3-1 if certain conditions are met.

Patch 1.15 Notes

[New Features]
• The player can use remaining chances to re-fight the final boss of Chapter 3 without needing to do the preceding trials again.

• Addressed an issue where certain sections of Mt. Onyo were accessible when they were meant to be locked.
• Addressed an issue where Toutai would not drop a party member that is inflicted with a different status effect.
• Addressed an issue where certain items were obtained that contained misleading item descriptions.
• Addressed an issue where certain doorways in Lealine Castle where unwalkable.
• Addressed an issue where payouts of tokens in Lealine Festival were incorrect.
• Addressed an issue where certain boss encounters could be skipped by fulfilling certain workarounds.
• Addressed a visual issue where bridge tile assets were not visible under certain conditions in Mt. Onyo.

Patch 1.14 Notes

[Fixed Issues]
• Addressed a spelling error in Mt. Onyo – Heiveir Entrance treasure chest where it incorrectly read the incorrect item when opened.
• Addressed an error where changing certain maps produces a map change error.
• Addressed an error where the player can receive two Token Cases when fulfilling certain conditions in the Lealine Festival.
• Addressed a visual issue where certain tiles on the Overworld were displaying incorrect graphics.
• Addressed an issue in the Goblin Village where two caves led to the same location.
• Addressed an issue where the Mt. Onyo Heiveir Entrance would transfer to Mirage Forest when certain requirements were fulfilled.
• Addressed an issue where dialogue spoken by Mage would still execute in the Trial Cave even when he isn’t currently present in the party.
• Addressed an issue where Fire Slimes would not act if they were out of AP.
• Addressed an issue where if a party member is asleep when lifted by Toutai, he or she would not fall.

Patch 1.13 Notes

[Additions/Changes]
• A “thank you” message has been added to the ending of the credits.
• The number of stat potions one can purchase in the Lealine Festival has been capped to three.

[Fixed Issues]
• Addressed an issue where artifacts of a removed quest in Hook Island still remain in the game, that partially implemented quest has been removed entirely.
• Addressed an issue in Chapter 2-3B where the ship can take multiple points of damage when dialogue is up and active.
• Addressed an issue where certain locations not in Advent of the Dakk’rian Empire can be accessed via the Overworld, crashing the game.
• Addressed an issue where not all sailors are able to be able to be found in a certain Southern Isle sidequest.

• Addressed an issue where the main menu may appear during the introduction cut-scene if the player hits Cancel button when the scene is loading.
• Addressed an issue when Goblin Village crashes if the player enters with Mage as “Paramedic” class.

• Addressed issue where spoken dialogue during the Prologue does not match up with the text.
• Addressed issues where certain scenes in Smuggler’s Passage would not work as intended depending on the Shopkeeper’s fate in Chapters 2 and 3.

Patch 1.1 Notes

[New Features]
• Selactic optional boss monsters have been added to the Overworld map. – They can be activated by trading an appropriate amount of Selactite to certain locations on the map.
• New areas have been added to the Overworld that can be traversed via Ship.
• Additional collectible cats have been added.
• Treasure has been added to the Selactic Cave.
• Single-target nature spells such as “Stone” now inflict damage-over-time “Pain” status.
• Row discrepancy for party members is now [Back, Front, Back, Front]. Positions of party members are purely visual and do not affect battle stats.
• Copyright information and splash screens have been updated to reflect the current year.
• In Chapter 1-3B, sad music now plays if you’re robbed by a Prisoner.
• In Chapter 1-3B, A warning message now appears if you attempt to leave the Availian Prison without rescuing any students.
• In Chapter 2-5, the section of dialogue after defeating the final boss of Chapter 2 is now voiced.

[Fixed Issues]
• Addressed issue where there were typos on certain tutorial posts.
• In Chapter 2-3B, addressed issue when the incorrect number of students appeared in certain cutscenes.
• In Chapter 2-3B, addressed issue when Number 016 is in incorrect clothing in certain cutscenes.
• Addressed issue where certain keys can be consumed or sold as items.
• Addressed issue where students would have 0/0 maximum AP when joining the party.
• In Chapter 2-3B, Addressed issue where Chancellor’s voice was not interrupted when skipping dialogue.
• Addressed issue where students do not accumulate experience points when completing a battle.
• Addressed issue where alarms do not properly turn off between floors.

• Addressed issue where players can swap Mage out of the party.
